TOPE FAMILY PAGE

    William Tope, son of Levi Tope and Anna Marie Kreiger, was born 3 May 1844  and died 24 July 1902 [note 1].  He married Margaret E. Starner on 13 September 1866 in Holmes Co., Ohio.  She was born 12 September 1847 in Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio [note 2], and died 13 October 1918 in Barberton, Summit Co., Ohio.  After William's death, she married Charles Miller. William and Margaret are buried in the  Presbyterian Cemetery, Nashville, Holmes Co., Ohio.

William and Margaret had ten children:

1. Lucy Tope was born 18 June 1867 and married John Kuhn.
2. Della Zora Tope was born 11 October 1868 in Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio and died 1 March 1950 in Lake, Ashland Co., Ohio. he married George Schaffer.
3. Effie Tope was born 1 May 1870, Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio and died 1900 and married George Kiner.
4.  Ida Flora Tope was born 1 May 1870, Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio and died 24 May 1875, Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio.
5.  Joseph Alan Tope was born 13 November 1873, Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio and died 18 Nov 1907.  Joseph never married.
6. Virgie Tope was born 19 September 1875, Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio and died 25 Jun 1897 and married George Barnical.
7. Corwin E. Tope.
8. Cameron Tope.
9. Clarence Estel Tope.
10. Harvey Tope was born 12 May 1883 in Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio, and died in 1952.  He married Rosa ? who was born about 1886.
11. George Levi Tope was born 10 March 1884 in Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio, and died 12 March 1907.  He never married.
12. Jessie tope was born 5 March 1886 in Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio, and died 18 January 1897 in Knox, Holmes Co., Ohio
