     Jason R. Kail, son of  Mary Ann Tope and Jacob Kail, was born 18 March 1850 in Carroll Co., Ohio, and died 14 February 1920 in Perrysville Co., Carroll, Ohio. He first married Anna Florence Baker on 19 October 1876, who was born 5 August 1860 in Leesville Co., Carroll, Ohio, and died 17 June 1922 [note 3].  He later married Jessie Morrison, who was born in September 1870 and died in 1936.
    Jason and Anna had five children:

1. Samuel T. Kail was born on 22 July 1879 in Leesville, Carroll Co., Ohio and died on 15 January 1938 in Orrville, Wayne Co., Ohio.  He married Elvira ?, who was born 17 March 1866 in Wales [note 4] and died 30 November 1936.
2. Claudia (Clauda) Kail born 20 May 1882 and died 16 August 1882 in Leesville, Carroll Co., Ohio [note 5].
3. Klida (Clida) Kail was born 20 May 1882 and died 13 August 1882 in Leesville, Carroll Co., Ohio [note 6].
4. Jason Frank Kail was born 27 September 1889 in Leesville, Carroll Co., Ohio and died 31 July 1914 note 7].
5. Mary Beatrice Kail was born 23 June 1891 in Leesville, Carroll Co., Ohio, and died 2 January 1985 in Wellman, Washington Co., Iowa. She married Wilford Clarence Wooley, who was born 14 July 1877 in DeWitt, DeWitt Co., Illinois, and died 10 December 1952 [note 8].
