Sarah
Jane Johnston, daughter of Sarah Ann Tope and John Johnston, was born

June 1852 in Ohio, and died 12
July 1925 at a ranch near Spring Ceek, Folsom Co., South Dakota. Sarah
is buried in Rapid City, South Dakota. She
was married about 1878 to a man, whose name is not known, and had twin
daughters [note
1]:
- Cora Lee Johnston was born
6 July 1879 in Ottawa Co., Kansas,
and died 6 December 1965 in Rapid City, South Dakota where she is
buried. She married Emmett Lee Bradford on 17 October 1900 in Rapid
City, South Dakota. Emmett was born 2 September 1869.
- Orah Lenna Johnston was
born 6 July 1879 in Ottawa Co., Kansas
and died 11 August 1962 in Multnomah Co., Oregon. She is buried near
Portland, Oregon. She married John Anson Wickhamon 15 April 1905 in
Deadwood, South Dakota. John was born 16
November 1864.
